Questions and answers
What kinds of noise can it remove?
Steady noise such as hum, hiss, air conditioning and fridge buzz, and irregular noise such as traffic, keyboard clicks, wind and distant chatter. Music under a voice is reduced, not removed.
Will my voice sound processed?
Not at the default strength. For very noisy recordings you can push the slider further; preview the result, as some breathiness may be lost.
Can I clean the audio of a video?
Yes. Upload the MP4 and download it with the cleaned soundtrack; the picture is not re-encoded.
What is loudness leveling?
It sets the overall volume to a standard target, −16 LUFS, a common reference for podcasts, so listeners don’t have to adjust the volume between shows.
