Questions and answers
Can I cut a part out of the middle?
Yes. Select the section on the waveform and press Delete; the two sides are joined with a short crossfade so the edit can’t be heard.
Does trimming reduce the audio quality?
WAV files are cut without any loss. MP3 and M4A files are saved again at their original bitrate, which makes no audible difference in normal listening.
Can I trim the audio of a video?
Yes. Upload the MP4 and Onda extracts the soundtrack, which you can export as MP3, WAV or M4A.
How do I make a ringtone?
Select up to 30 seconds, add a short fade out and export as M4A. For an iPhone, rename the file extension from .m4a to .m4r.
